This policy describes how Bethesda Marketing's internal tooling handles information accessed via Google APIs.

Who we are

Bethesda Marketing is a marketing agency based in Maryland, USA. The internal tooling described here is operated by the agency for the agency's own staff use only — it is not a public product.

What data we access

When connected to Google services, the tooling may read:

• Search Console performance data for sites the connecting account already has access to (read-only).
• Google Analytics 4 metrics for properties the connecting account already has access to (read-only).
• Google Business Profile listings the connecting account already has access to (read/manage, scoped to listings already under our management).
• Google Tag Manager containers the connecting account already has access to (read, and edit/publish where the account already has that permission).

The tooling never asks for access beyond what the connecting Google account already has. Disconnecting at myaccount.google.com/permissions revokes all access immediately.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or share any data accessed via these APIs with third parties outside the agency's own service providers (e.g. the hosting infrastructure those services run on).
• We do not use the data for advertising or profiling outside the original client account it came from.
• We do not use Google user data to train or improve any AI/ML models, generalized or otherwise.

How long we keep things

Marketing data fetched for reporting is retained only as long as the agency relationship with the underlying client account is active. Operational logs of the tooling itself (which tool was called, when, by whom, with arguments redacted) are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted.

Where data is processed

Tooling runs on a self-hosted server inside the agency office and on Cloudflare's network. Both are based in the United States.

Your rights

If you are a Bethesda Marketing client and want a copy or deletion of any data the tooling holds on your behalf, email alex@bethesdamarketing.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, the "Last updated" date above will move and we'll notify active clients by email.
